Created
April 2025
This piece was created to demonstrate empathetic type in use to convey sensitive, sad, or hard to read information, and answer the question: can typography aid the designer in conveying sad or disappointing news in a more gentle or approachable way? The typeface used was designed based off information gathered in a survey that aimed to pin specific traits to empathy in type.
.
